Danny's Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie

This dessert holds a very special place in our family. My husband makes it for every special occasion, especially birthdays! The kids cant wait to dive into it. It’s rich, delicious and sinful and with all the “ short cuts” it easy and simple to whip up!

For the crust

1 store purchased Oreo Pie Crust ( I said it was easy!)

Filling

8 oz Cream Cheese

1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter

1 1/2 cup Whipping cream

1/2 cup Sugar

1 Tbsp Vanilla extract

6-8 oz jar of good quality chocolate sauce ( we use Frans)

Whip cream to soft peaks. Set it aside in freezer while you prepare the rest of the filling. In a mixer, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and Vanilla and mix well. Add the Peanut Butter and mix until fluffy. Fold in the Whipped cream. Pour into the Pie Shell, mounding in the center and smoothing the surface. Freeze for 2-3 hours. Pour slightly warmed chocolate sauce over pie. Store for another 30-60 minutes in freezer before serving. Stores well in freezer for up to a week.

If you wanna get a little fancy, sprinkle with 1 Tbsp flaked salt over chocolate for a “salted Chocolate” taste!
