Gin Fizzle
My husband Dan is a Gin and Tonic kinda guy, and I've always enjoyed them too, but this drink takes the cake for me! Not too sweet, just the right amount of tartness and on a warm day, nothing beats it!
Gin Fizzle
- 1 ½ shot of your favorite Gin (I use Blue Sapphire or Hendricks)
- 1 shot simple syrup
- Juice and zest of 1 Lemon
- 1 egg white
Fill your shaker with ice and combine all ingredients except zest into the shaker and shake like crazy for 1 full minute. Fill your glass with ice and strain your mixture over the ice filling your glass to the rim. Top with a sprinkle of your lemon zest and a slice of lemon if desired and enjoy the frothy sweet meringue. It’s a lemon Meringue pie in a glass, Cheers!
