Salami Purses

Ingredients:
One 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened

2 Tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives 

1/4 cup Mama Lil’s Peppers or /any roasted hot and sweet peppers or pimentos

20 thin slices salami 

Balsamic Vinegar

Fresh Basil for Garnish

Directions

  1. Mix together the cream cheese and chives in a bowl. Chop the peppers or pimentos into small pieces and mix into the cream cheese mixture.

  2. In the center of each slice of salami spoon a small dollop of the cheese mixture and pinch the salami together at tho top using 4 fingers using the cheese mixture to hold it together to create “purses”.

  3. Place on a serving platter and drizzle with Balsamic, garnish with Basil and Enjoy!

  4. Or, make ahead, cover and refrigerate
