Cheater Crackers
Ok, these have to be the best cracker. They hold up to heavy dips, along side a bowl of soup or Chili to pairing with the best Triple Cream Brie. My friend Linda turned me onto these and now this is all we use. I don’t buy crackers any longer. As a matter of fact I make a boat load of them and send half of them in a huge zip lock bag to our son Tyler in Montana because he loves them so much. There is nothing better than a taste of home and care packages! The best part is you can add whatever flavor to these crackers to make them unique to what your desiring. I mainly do French salt. But your options are endless from cayenne, black pepper, rosemary, and other herbs to seeds like poppy and sesame to parmesan or even sweet cinnamon and sugar! I call them Cheaters because I start these crackers out by purchasing the Lavash Bread from Trader Joe’s. Sometimes I will purchase the White and the Wheat to give us an option. If you don’t have a TJ in your area, you can make these by using another brand of Lavash. Just watch your time and temperature as the bread thickness could be slightly different. #savory #easyhomeentertaining #belikebecci

On a cookie sheet lay out 2 pieces of the Lavash and brush generously with Olive Oil. Sprinkle with 3 teaspoons of salt (less or more if desired)
Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown, keeping and eye on them not to burn.
cool on a cookie rack and break into desired shards.
Try varying your toppings to make different flavors: Parmesan,Rosemary, Cinnamon and sugar, Italian Herbs and the list could go on and on!
