Jack Daniel's Glaze for Salmon

1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

5 cloves Garlic, minced

6 Tbsp light brown sugar

1/4 cup Jack Daniels

2 Tbsp honey

2 Tbsp fresh orange juice

2 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce

Zest of 1 orange

salt and pepper to taste

In a medium skillet over medium heat add the extra virgin olive oil and sauce the garlic for 2 minutes. Once the garlic has softened and is fragrant, add the remaining 7 ingredients and bring the mixture to a boil, then lower the heat to a slow simmer and cook for about 10 minutes or until the mixture thickens into a glaze. remove from heat, but keep warm.
