Cowboy compound butter

1 clove Garlic

1/2 Lemon, juice and zest

1/4 cup parsley

1 pinch black pepper

1 pinch red pepper flakes

1 cup salted butter

HOW TO MAKE COWBOY BUTTER

Here's our recipe for garlic steak butter that will wow everyone!

  1. Allow the butter to come to room temperature before starting.

  2. In a small bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy, then add in the parsley, red pepper flakes, black pepper, minced garlic, lemon juice and zest.

  3. Mix until well combined.

  4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and turn the butter mixture out onto a piece of parchment paper or long piece of plastic wrap.

  5. Using the back of a spatula, spread out the mixture into a log shape.

  6. Roll the parchment paper up and twist the ends.

  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to come together.
