Sesame Ginger Snap Peas
These are the perfect compliment to any asian flavored meal from Teriyaki Chicken to Pad Thai.
4 Cups Sugar Snap Peas
1 clove garlic put through garlic press
1 tsp fresh ginger
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp black sesame seeds ( or regular if you don’t have black)
1/2 tsp sesame oil
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and quickly blanch the peas for r1 minute, strain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process, and drain well.
in a small bowl, mix together the other ingredients and stir to combine.
Chill the peas. Right before serving, toss the peas in the dressing and serve.
Garnish with more sesame seeds, sliced green onions or cilantro if desired.
